Two syrups with Buram Honey for winter colds

Ginger and honey syrup

Ingredients:

For a 500 gram jar:

1 piece of fresh ginger (lemon size)

1 piece of medium size lemon

Buram Turkey honey (350 – 400 grams)

Preparation:

Cut a piece from ginger root, peel and wash it with the help of a teaspoon.

Mince the ginger first vertically and then horizontally (matchstick thickness).

Put the minced ginger into a clean jar.

Wash the lemon and then slice it thinly without removing the peels, and put them into the jar.

Fill the jar with Buram Turkey honey.

Close the cover of jar and put it into the refrigerator.

Before using this mixture, bland it by shaking or by the help of spoon.

Consume it by pouring 1-2 teaspoons from mixture into one cup of warm water.

Vitamin Syrup

The second recipe we’ll share is a vitamin syrup that you can use frequently in winter months. You can use this syrup instead of sugar in your herbal teas, or you can consume it by eating 1 sweet spoon on an empty stomach in the mornings.

First, the ingredients:

Ingredients:

1 piece of finger-sized fresh ginger

1 piece of lemon

1/2 (half) orange

Peels of 1 apple

2 cinnamon barks

15-20 pieces of cloves

Preparation:

First, peel the fresh ginger in the shapes of cube, lay it at the bottom of the jar you will use.

Add the cloves over the ginger.

Then, respectively lay down the sliced lemon, apple and oranges. (The knife must be very sharp when you cut the fruit you use. Otherwise the juice of these fruits may leak)

Place the cinnamon barks vertically on the sides of jar, and then pour the Buram honey into the jar. If you do not have any tools to measure honey, you can put as many honey as you can into your jar.

You can use your syrup after it is waited for 1 day in the refrigerator.

Try to upside down the jar sometimes so that honey shall not sink to the bottom. It is advised to finish this syrup in 3-4 weeks.
